Handicap automatic door openers

People with physical handicap or disabilities have several options to make their life more accessible and enjoyable.

As manufacturing process evolves side by side with the automation technology, these peculiar gadgets that were found on wealthy homes are accessible to the general public. Think about how much your cellular phone plan would cost back on the 80's and you'll get my point.

The whole purpose of technology is to free the human been; free it from labor (or boring and repetitive task) and expanding human been limitations; including mobility impaired.

So what are the differences between handicap automatic door openers and the common automatic door opener?

The truth. They are the same.

Maybe some will allow to open the door manually and automatically; as making the door seem to be normal to everyone but in reality there is an automatic door opener installed that will respond to a proximity sensor attached to the wheelchair... who knows.

The fact is that the openers are the same; but here are some things to have in mind.

People with disabilities are very sensitive about been treated like if they are different. The truth is that... they are.
In fact, we all are different; but hey... they are sensitive; what can we do?

So, some commercial manufacturers create these special line for mobility impaired people to be almost undetectable; allowing the doors to react and operate normally as well as automatically.
